Gatherings
Join our Network of Former Volunteers to connect with other formers to start your own gatherings!

• Boston has one of the country's highest numbers of former volunteers, so there's a lot going on there. Former Jesuit Volunteers (FJV's) meet monthly at 7 pm in Harvard Square for a potluck dinner followed by a reflection. They always welcome former volunteers of any organization to all of their events.  FJV's also gather at the Crossroads Jesuit Urban Center at 761 Harrison Ave. Call 617-536-8440.

Volunteer programs headquartered in Massachusetts
One way to get connected with current and/or former volunteers in the area is to plan intercommunity volunteer gatherings such as prayer groups, game nights, meals/picnics, etc.

The following programs are headquartered in Massachusetts: Family Lifeline Volunteers, Inc. (Worcester), Providence Volunteer Ministries (Kingston) and Women in Service to Appalachia (Watertown).

Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd.  Many formers attend this parish located in Salem which is just north of Boston. The 5pm Mass is a Life Teen Mass.  The music is excellent and the Mass is lively and well-attended.  Many young adults, including former volunteers, go.  The Parish has an active Young Adult community.
