Volunteer programs headquartered in New Mexico
One way to get connected with current and/or former volunteers in the area is to plan intercommunity volunteer gatherings such as prayer groups, game nights, meals/picnics, etc. 

The following programs are headquartered in New Mexico: St. Francis of Assisi School (Gallup) and Side by Side Lay Volunteer Program (Albuquerque).

Retreat opportunities/spirituality centers

Monastery of Christ in the Desert, Abiquiu, is run by the Benedictines.

A ministry of the Daughters of Charity of St. Magdalene of Canossa, the Canossian Spirituality Center seeks to provide spiritual support and companionship to Catholic women and men who want to experience the peace of Christ. Office of Catholic Social Ministry is located in the Diocese of Las Cruces. The mission for OCSM is to promote the Catholic Social Teachings throughout the diocese.
