Bricktown, Oklahoma City, 405-236-8666. Once a busy warehouse area, Bricktown is Oklahoma City's newest entertainment district. With a dozen restaurants, shopping and generous helping of turn-of-the-century charm, Bricktown offers visitors a variety of activities.

City Arts Center in Oklahoma City is an arts education facility with spaces that change exhibits every 4-6 weeks. Admission is free. Call 405-948-6400.

In addition to fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers, the historical Farmers Public Market of Oklahoma City offers a great variety of shops specializing in antiques, books, dolls, furniture, glassware and flea market items. For more information call 405-232-6506.

A nonprofit artists association dedicated to supporting the contemporary arts and artists in all media in Oklahoma. IAO is for all media, two- and three-dimensional, as well as performance art. Exhibits change out every month. Individual Artists of Oklahoma City, One North Hudson, Suite 150. Admission is free.

Outdoor admission is free to the Myraid Botanical Gardens located at 100 Myriad Gardens in Oklahoma City, 405-297-3995. The Myriad Botanical Gardens is a 17-acre oasis in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, with beautifully landscaped rolling hills surrounding a sunken lake. There are paved trails, water gardens, koi swimming around the lake - its a marvelous place to spend some time.
