| • Gallery Nights are held every other Thursday
night and includes a trip on the trolley from art house to art house.
• Be sure to check out the art work provided by artists at the Rhode Island School of Design. Students often sell their work at the end of each semester. • Waterfire is a new event on summer and fall evenings along the river. The river that runs through the center of town is lit on fire as people enjoy the funky music and hanging out. • John Brown House is located at 52 Power
Street in Providence. George Washington slept here. Providence's
wealthiest merchant played host in this 3-story brick mansion. |
