The masses at St. Michael's College in Winooski are full of active participation, great music, and dynamic homilies. The church on campus is very welcoming to all people and is very active in the community.

 

Retreat opportunities/spirituality centers

Monastery of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is located in Westfield. Call the Benedictines at 802-744-6525 for more information.

Music, film, and other cultural events
Vermont Mozart Festival takes place on 110 Main St., in Burlington. For more information call 802-862-7352.

• For an interesting night on the town with friends, try Ri-Ra's  or Sweetwaters in Burlington for excellent live music.

Burlington Coffee House at Rhombus Gallery has poetry readings. They are located at 186 College St., Burlington, 802-864-5888.

• Throughout the month of August there is the Vermont Festival of the Arts.

Don't miss all the free music and events in Burlington's Church Street Market Place. Then head over to enjoy Battery Park and the view of Lake Champlain.
