Come and See Weekend Retreat: Exploring Religious Life

DATES: August 2-3, 2008; October 25-26, 2008
ARRIVAL:  Saturday, 9:00 am
DEPARTURE: Sunday, 1:00 pm (after Sunday Mass and lunch)

DESCRIPTION: We invite single Catholic women to experience the life of the Sisters of Bon Secours and to learn more about religious life. You will have the opportunity to be with sisters as you learn about our life. You'll also meet and share with other women who are exploring religious life as a life option. This weekend offers time for discussions, reflection, liturgy, relaxation, and one-on-one conferences with a sister. Learn More

What: Catholics On Call Young Adult Conference
When: Sunday, August 3 – Friday, August 8 (week long program)

Catholics On Call: Direction for Your Life
Catholics On Call is now accepting applications for the 2008 Young Adult Conferences: June 5-8 (extended weekend program) and August 3-8 (week long program).  Catholics On Call gives men and women, ages 18-30, the time and resources to reflect on God’s call in their lives.  We reach out to young adults who may be considering the possibility of a life of service in the Church as a lay minister, religious sister or brother, or priest.  The conferences are offered free of charge and are held in Chicago at Catholic Theological Union.  Click on the links for more information and to view the video:

The conferences are provided free of charge.  Participants are responsible for their own transportation, although we hope you as partners will be able to help them with travel expenses.  Applications are now available online.  The application deadlines are March 1 (June conference) and May 1 (August conference).
